A little while ago I saw this new technology for men.
It lets you turn your iPhone into a microscope…
and watch your own sperm swim around!!
I was like: MY WHOLE CAREER HAS LED ME TO THIS VERY MOMENT OF GLORY!!
(The purpose is to test your own fertility, not just to creep on your own sperm…but who is judging, really…)
So I got on the waitlist for the kit…
As soon as it arrived, we tested Andrew’s sperm.
Now at this point you might be asking yourself…why, Layla, why??
(It’s not for money, I have no connection to the sperm kit company.)
But Andrew always kinda thought he might be shooting blanks…
And I’m always looking for interesting vlog ideas…
And boom! Genius was made.

Also, before I go, here is my feminist rallying cry about why this sperm kit is in, fact, extremely important…
Due to patriarchy, doctors have always been afraid to tell a man that he is infertile, even though more than 50% of the time, infertility is actually coming from the man in a heterosexual couple.
So, doctors would test women instead even though it was 1) invasive and 2) more expensive. Because, patriarchy.
So this sperm testing kit lets men get tested at home and we can all start to understand that infertility isn’t just a woman’s issue – it affects all of us. BOOM!
