Think of all of the magic we do in our virtual sessions... and amplify it because we will be LIVE! We'll be doing jade egg practices. We'll be doing breathwork processes. We'll be doing Tantric initiation processes and powerful goddessy things. We'll be doing nightly rituals. We'll be sharing and transforming. That sort of magic.

Let me start by saying that at all points in the retreat, you are always allowed to say no or to have a healthy boundary. So there is no forced nudity. You can always keep your clothes on if you want.

However, we will be doing jade egg practices and other processes where nudity is totally optional. That means that other women/female identifying people may choose to be topless or fully nude. So, while you can always choose to keep your clothing on, by attending this retreat you are consenting to accepting other women choosing to be topless or fully nude.

In my experience, nudity can bring up a lot of fear for some women/female identifying people. And I have also seen that it is a great healer – and by that I mean when women/female identifying people spend time being innocently naked… meaning you are free to be dressed or undressed and it doesn't matter… they stop judging and criticizing their bodies and gain a lot of confidence. It sounds too easy, but I have seen it too many times to doubt it: nudity helps a woman/female identifying person embrace her/their own body as natural, beautiful, normal and effortlessly sexy. So, there will be optional nudity on this retreat.

There is no explicit sexuality or sexual touching in the group room. This retreat is about embracing your own sexuality and pleasure, but not about group sexual activities. You'll be encouraged to play and be free, but to honor and respect others in the group room. That means that you can celebrate and awaken your own sexuality in a totally safe space where you will be completely held and supported.

There is one electric plug in the cabanas for fans. The cabanas are illuminated at night with oil lamps and candles. You will be unable to use any small electrical appliances like hair dryers, curling irons or razors. There is no outdoor lighting so you will need to bring a flashlight or a headlamp for use at night. There are electrical outlets in the dining room, pool terrace and yoga shalas that have the same voltage as the U.S for recharging electronic devices and batteries. 

This is a beautiful invitation to pop your cell phone and laptop in your suitcase for 7 days and tune out to tune in!

There are no phones or internet at the retreat center. If you would like to use a phone or the internet, you will need to go in to Sayulita to one of the internet cafes in town. There is cell phone reception at the highest point on the property. Your cell phone, including data service, may work in Mexico depending on your service provider and your plan. Please contact your service provider before you depart to make this determination.

The water from the faucets are safe for showering and other necessities. There is clean, fresh, purified water provided in each cabana for drinking, brushing your teeth and cleaning your contacts and contact cases and in the dining room for drinking. The ice used at Haramara is also made from clean, fresh, purified water. We recommend bringing a portable reusable water bottle for personal use.

Check-in is on October 19, 2024. If you are arriving before October 19th, there are plenty of amazing Airbnb's and/or hotels in Sayulita! 

Haramara Retreat is located in the breathtaking coastal region of Nayarit, Mexico (known as Riviera Nayarit) near the town of Sayulita. It is situated on 12 private acres of land between the Sierra Madre Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. The retreat is nestled into the tropical jungle vegetation on a hillside above the magnificent rugged coast of the Pacific Ocean and its private and pristine beach.

Refunds for fully-paid trips
Your place is guaranteed at the time of payment. If you need to cancel your registration prior to the retreat, the guidelines are as follows, based on a September 10th deadline:

• If you cancel 90+ days prior to the event (deadline of July 6th, 2024), Team Layla will refund 75% of the total cost

• If you cancel 60 days prior to the event (deadline of August 6th, 2024) Team Layla will refund 50% of the total cost

• If you cancel 30 days prior to the event (deadline of September 4th 2024) Team Layla will refund 25% of the total cost

• If you cancel 29 days prior to the event, no refunds will be granted.

If the retreat is canceled by Team Layla at any time up to the day of arrival, you will be offered the option to:

• Move your registration/funds to a new date provided by Team Layla.

• Receive a full refund from Team Layla if you choose not to attend a retreat on a future date.

For additional protection, we encourage attendees to purchase travel, medical, and/or trip cancellation insurance. For example, some of the most popular travel insurance providers are Allianz, GeoBlue and Travel Guard. The attendee’s credit card or employer may also provide certain coverage.
